Our Team

Our Appointment Philosophy

At Southern Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, we celebrate children every day! We understand that a visit to the dentist is a big milestone in your child’s journey, and we are here to make it a joyful, empowering experience. Led by Dr. Tiffany Green, our team is dedicated to building a lifelong relationship with your family as your trusted partner in dental health.

To help your child’s southern smile shine bright, we have designed our scheduling to honor their emotional needs and developmental stages.

Timing for the Best Experience

We strive to schedule appointments at a time that is most convenient for you while prioritizing your child's comfort.

  • Preschool-Aged Children: We recommend morning appointments for our littlest patients. Children are often fresher and more relaxed in the morning, which allows us to work at a slower, gentler pace for their maximum comfort.
  • School-Aged Children with extensive treatment: For school-aged kids who may recommend more extensive care, the morning is also the best time for a visit. This helps ensure they have plenty of energy and a positive mindset for their appointment.

School & Dental Health

We believe that starting early with prevention and good habits is the key to a healthy smile.

  • Excused Absences: Dental appointments are considered an excused absence from school.
  • Consistency is Key: By maintaining regular check-ups, we can help keep missed school time to a minimum while ensuring your child grows up with a healthy, confident smile.

Open Chair Philosophy

We completely understand that life with children can be unpredictable. To make sure we can offer every child the care they need, we do ask for at least 48 hours' notice for any changes. This helps us avoid an 'open chair fee' of $50 and lets another family have that special time.

Dr. Tiffany and her team want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our patients.

Thank you for being a valued patient and for your understanding and cooperation. This will enable us to open otherwise unused appointments to better serve the needs of all patients.
