At Southern Smiles, we are experts at easy first visits! Guided by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), we recommend your child’s dental journey begins by their first birthday to build a foundation of prevention and good habits.
What to Expect during Your One-Hour Visit:

- A Child-Centered Exam: Depending on their age, your child will have a "knee-to-knee" exam in your lap or a gentle check-up in the doctor’s chair.
- Personalized Guidance: We’ll discuss your child's unique smile, provide helpful hygiene tips, and perform a cleaning in most cases.
